Company Announcements

The Board of Directors of Hengyuan Refining Company Berhad (“HRC” or “Company”) wishes to announce that a fire incident had occurred at one of its crude tank in Refinery Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan.

The fire started at approximately 04:20 p.m. today (22 May 2020). 

The damages sustained from the fire incident are restricted to one crude tank area. Other sections of the refinery and office building were not affected. Preliminary indications of the fire were due to lightning strike.

The financial impact has yet to be fully ascertained. The company is looking into ascertaining the actual extend and damages arising from the fire with relevant parties.

The Board will make a further announcement in due course, for any further development, if required.
