Reference is made to Hengyuan Refining Company Berhad’s (“Company” or “HRC”) announcement dated 22 October 2019 in relation to the damage to an underwater valve of HRC’s Single Buoy Mooring system. Unless otherwise defined, the terms used in this announcement shall have the same meaning as those defined in the aforesaid announcement.
The Company is pleased to announce that the repair works to the underwater valve were completed on 31 October 2019 and the crude intake to HRC’s refinery has returned to normal operational levels.
The Company is still in the process of investigating the causes of damage and assessing its financial impacts.
